IRAMA (International Rhythm and Melody Adventure) Workshops

This workshop offers musicianship and pedagogical training based on Kodály, Orff and Daclorze approaches. Participants will develop a sequential approach for presenting musical concepts to children who are five through nine years of age. Workshop time will be spent exploring child development, learning a wide range of Malaysian, Asian Pacific, and Western repertoire; and finding developmentally appropriate ways to help children be expressive with music. Teachers of children in a school setting and private music teachers would benefit from this workshop.
